Miranda returned to University as a mature age student and graduated with honours as an Occupational Therapist in 2016. Miranda worked for a year in Occupational rehabilitation, assisting people with return to work, and has spent the last 5 years working in early intervention mental health, supporting children and their families.
Miranda is passionate about working along side children and families in partnership, to support them to build on their strengths and live the best lives possible regardless of diagnosis. Miranda believes people are the experts in their own lives and seeks to encourage and empower them to achieve their chosen goals.
Miranda is happy to provide services at a child’s school or kinder, in the home, in or the community as appropriate. Miranda is available to assist adult clients as well as children and adolescents.
A little about Miranda's life
Miranda lives with her teenage children and 5 cats, and continues to enjoy keeping fit and healthy, with the occasional Netflix binge or a good book to relax.
